SIWO-KUL 3.3kV - Silicone, +180 Deg C, Fiber Braid, 3.3-4.2kV  

SIWO-KUL 3.3kV  is a 180 Deg C. flexible silicone insulated 3.3-4.2kV cable made up of class-5 tinned copper strand,  semi-conducting tape, silicone rubber core and a red overall coated synthetic yarn reinforced braid.  This cable is used where high flexibility is required and high temperature conditions exist.  It is suitable as connection cable for high voltage machines, transformers, motors and generators. The protective braid gives SIWO-KUL 3.3kV cables good anti-friction, high abrasion resistance and excellent chemical resistance against transformers oils, light fuel oils and most types of cleaning agents.  In the event of fire, the halogen-free silicone jacket will not give off corrosive or toxic gases and very low smoke making it suitable for use in traction machines and in ship building.
